Friday Photo #9: Outdoor Beauty
Photographer: Jemyca Juliusson
Camera: My Phone - HTC Evo 3D
Why: I went to Hatzik lake this past summer, and it seemed to be a dragonfly sanctuary. I saw one land beside my phone and i, so i quickly whipped out the camera mode and held it close to the dragon fly. Didn't even get to see the photo until i got inside the tent because out the sun it was so bright out. So yes, i did take a picture blind, and look how it turned out.

Friday Photo #7: Tell A Story With Your Title
Photographer: Jemyca Juliusson
Camera: My Phone - HTC Evo 3D
Why: "The Life Saver" literally this should be called the life saver but it is just a normal cross walk button...that saves your life. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars of fines you can just press this little button and make life easier, that way you do not have to look out the back of the ambulance doors.

Self Portrait Ideas
I found this image to be very unique. I think of it as if he where holding up a gun to his head and where going to shoot. The way he put it in black and white really symbolizes the age of the photograph and shows how he takes photography i will definitely take some lessons from Martin Gommel.
I love the colour of her hair and were her hand is placed just before her face...You can tell exactly where her hand is put before her face because of the shadow on the light blue painted wall. Her facial expression is trying to tell you a story with her hands, with it saying "LOVE, LIKE, WOE" (whatever that means). I like the fact that her hand is in her self portrait i might do that too.
The toes symbolize comfort on the light blue carpet, with the jeans not being focused really helped the appearance of the toes. I think of home when i look at this photograph and it really stands out to me from of all the 101 photographs of the portraits. It looks like a photo i would take.

Mosaic
This Mosaic project took a while but as you can see the second one turned out way better than the first one, the colors contrast well with the picture.

Friday Photo #6: At A Glimpse
Photographer: Jemyca Juliusson
Camera: Nikon D300 SLR Film
Why: I went to Portland Oregon this past summer of 2012 and when i was on my travels i noticed a man setting up a kite. I moved so i could get the huge rock in the middle of the picture as well, so when i took it they would both be in the middle of the Ray Ban sunglasses. I simply held up the glasses to make it look like there was a frame around it.

Friday Photo #5: Opposites
Photographer: Jemyca Juliusson
Camera: Nikon D3100 SLR Film
Why: This was one of the only black and white images that stood out to me in our school. Our mascot the night rider and the yin and yang sign all in one! What could be better? As you can see there is a black smudge in the photograph on the white horses neck, before it was photoshopped it looked like someone scratched the painting with a black marker. I used the 'Spot healing brush tool' to try and erase the black scratches away, but as you can see it was more difficult than it seems.

Friday Photo #4: Spilled
Camera: Nikion D3100 SRL film
Why: The spilling image represents motion in time, and someone spilling the liquid onto the water resistant carpet. This image tells a story weather it be someone spilling a glass of water, or it may being someone ringing out a wet towel. Whatever it may be, it looks unquie because of the bubbling effect.

Friday Photo #3: Creepy
Photographer: Jemyca JuliussonCamera: Nikon D3100 SLR film
Why: I chose to do this method because i think this is creepy. I got the idea from the True Blood series, and i thought it was creepy it could be both vampire and not...It is ironic because Halloween was 2 days ago! The procedure for this was quite simple i only had to use 4 different kinds of tools and to lighten the colour of her face, and blood.
PhotoShop Portraits

This Project was difficult because you did not know what you were doing when it came to layers, option buttons and coloring the background. I found this project to be very stressful because when i had a question...Mr. Memmott was not there. (Practice makes perfect right?) Over all if we got to choose if we wanted to do this project for a second time i would not. I am sure in the futer it will be easier.

Friday Photo #2: A Face
The photographer: Jemyca Juliusson
Camera: Nikon D3100 SLR film
Why: The way i thought of this photo was to be creative and not just take a picture of a face. The fruit resembles the facial structures...(i.e. apple: right eye, orange: left eye, and the banana: mouth.) It is taken in our school in our cafeteria. The picture is brightened, and has been photoshopped.

Tiltshift Photography
The photoshop experience for Tiltshift seems complex but is actually quite simple once you get the hang of it. It just seems like you are doing the same thing over and over again. Tiltshift and photoshop make your photos look unrealistic, even though you took the photograph with a camera. The process is simple...you take the picture, choose where you want the image to be blurry, change up the colours and presto! You have got yourself a Tiltshift image.Tuesday, October 16, 2012
Friday Photo #1: Black and White Image
Photographer: Unkown
Camera: Unknown
Why: I have seen this picture before, it is art. I chose this picture because it stands out to me. It stands out to me because of the eyes, it really draws you in and has a purpose. The face in the trees is a beautiful way to see ourselves in the mirror without a mirror present, and to see that there is always someone watching you without you noticing.
